Great news! At last door supervisor safety is being taken seriously. This is an opportunity for everyone involved in delivering security in the events, hospitality, and leisure sector to put this matter firmly on the agenda.
Portsmouth University and NDW to investigate safety in the door supervision sector
Brilliant news and your chance to make a real difference at last
Hi there, Portsmouth University and National Doorwatch (NDW) are
conducting two surveys. They are trying to find out about the difficult
& dangerous job you do on the doors. One is about the general safety
and the other is specifically about one-man/woman doors. The good news
is getting this information benefits everyone from your employer, to
the client, to the customer, and most importantly yourselves.
The information we have gathered so far demonstrates what we already know, and how much the job is under-valued.
We really do only want to hear from working door supervisors, or who have worked in the last 3 years.
The surveys are confidential & each one takes no more than 15mins to complete.
Please don't start answering questions unless you know you have the time to complete it fully - this is really important.
Once you've completed each one, pass it on to as many working DS as possible
Survey 1 HTTP://svy.mk/sEXcpc
Survey 2 HTTP://svy.mk/s2UmxR
Therefore it's now all about numbers. We need numbers to put the
result of the survey beyond doubt, and to show how important the door
supervisor contribution is to the events, hospitality and leisure
sector
Once again thank you very much to all of you taking part.
